A key effort of the residents association has been towards the installation of alleygates protecting the private (jointly owned) area within the 'island' surrounded by part of Braemar Avenue closer to the Welsh Harp.
The website of the Brent Environmental Health Department is an excellent source of information for all those interested in what the council can do to improve our local area. Here is their environmental improvement section. The Brent "guide to alleygating" (pfd file) can be found by navigating within the section - or here.
